BRIDAL PORTRAITS...Reimagined!
There is a tradition in some parts of the country where the Bride has Bridal Portraits done prior to her wedding - most of the time in her dress - and the image(s) are printed and framed to hang in her home or her parent's home. It has been this way for many years...I think it may be more in the south, but don't quote me on that one. I think I may have seen some in the North East part of the country too...but again, please don't quote me on that.
I can tell you that it is not a thing in the midwest (at least not in Nebraska, that I have seen). But...I want to change that! I have modernized it to be more than just a pretty picture in your dress...bringing a magazine, fashion-inspired flair to the session. Something you may see in a bridal magazine - I know you have been going through a few of those if you are getting married any time soon!
The Bridal Portrait session includes professional hair & makeup, style & design concept consultation, a studio credit to use towards your product choice(s) and can include portraits in your dress - fully wedding-look ready, or can be more a more casual version of your look. We can even include some fashion-like boudoir-feel images that you may want to share with your future husband (or current one if you are already married). You can bring just your dress, or 2-5 more outfits.
Your wedding day is going to zoom by...you will have some great images from your wedding photographer, absolutely...but this is a session just for you...to get to put on your dress more than just that one day. And the best part? These are in studio, so there is no need to worry about getting the dress dirty.
FAQ's
What will I do with the images? Well, while you could put them on your walls somewhere in your home with some amazing wall art options, most people opt for a beautiful Bespoke album or Portfolio Box of matted prints. What you do with them is up to you!
Can you choose to do your Bridal Beauty Preview/Trial Run on the same day as this? Absolutely!! We can do your Hair/Makeup so that you can see the full look and then go straight into the photoshoot.
Does this have to be done before being married? Nope! You can do it anytime you want to!
