Hi there!  Thanks so much for wanting to know a little more about me. My name is Marla (Salerno) Austin.  I am a Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Entrepreneur.  I am a Portrait Photographer & Makeup Artist. 

I picked up my first camera (I think) when I was about 13, but wasn't really serious about it (I may have just taken a few images and then literally put it back down).  I used to buy the disposable cameras and would procrastinate so long getting them developed that I forgot what was on them (please tell me I am not the only one that did that).  In high school, I took a photography class and was so excited to be in the dark room developing the film.  There is something magical watching the image come alive in the chemicals.  

I attended Cosmetology School in 1992 and have been licensed in the states of PA, LA, and FL within one time or another during the last 27 years. I absolutely love makeup and the way a look can be simple or dramatic and each makes you feel something completely different inside.  The way your makeup is on the outside can truly speak to how you are feeling on the inside or transform a look with just a little or a lot of color.  

Along the way, I attained a business degree and a paralegal degree as well (these were not as fun as my creative side - but they have helped)

In 2011, I joined my love of makeup and my love of portraits with my love of making women feel beautiful.  This has been an ever evolving business but at the heart of it is YOU.   Thank you for that!  You are what keeps me going and pushing forward to grow this business!  

I could absolutely not be where I am today without the love of my family, the support of my husband and son, and the Lord.  I am forever humble and grateful for the blessings I have in my life, the new friends that I get to meet through my gifts, and the journey that I am on.
